Hardys tease return of Broken Matt and Willow in TNA

With each passing episode of Impact, the Hardys inch closer to unleashing Broken Matt and Willow on the Righteous. It appears that this has been the Righteous’ plan all along. Be careful what they wish for. The Hardys teased that it is almost Broken season.

In recent weeks, Matt was kidnapped into a bloody beatdown from Dutch, and the Hardys were victorious over the Righteous in a tables match. That loss didn’t dismay the Righteous. It’s all part of their plan.

The Hardys and the Righteous have been going back and forth exchanging banter on social media, such as Matt posting a snippet from Adelle singing, “This is the end. Hold your breath and count to ten.”

The latest tease came during Thursday night Impact (Apr. 16, 2026). The Hardys are fresh off losing the TNA tag titles to the System at Rebellion. They were understandably in a bad mood. Matt challenged Dutch to a match next week to make him the sacrifice. Matt slipped in and out of his Broken speech cadence, and Jeff let loose a Willow laugh in the dark.

Update: The Righteous responded to the Hardys. Their goal was for the Matt and Jeff to lose the tag titles, so that nobody would interfere in the grander plan. They’ve gained every version of the Hardys except one. Dutch is excited for the next step in fighting Matt.
