Hardship: Why I stopped using my private jet – Senator Kalu

Abia North senator, Orji Uzor-Kalu, has disclosed the reason behind his decision to no longer use his private jet.

In a video circulating on social media, he admitted that the tough economic conditions prompted him to stop utilizing the jet.

He expressed frustration over the high cost of fueling the aircraft and mentioned that he now prefers commercial flights.

Additionally, he revealed that he has leased out the private jet to an oil company. Orji Uzor Kalu stated that he ceased using the private jet in August this year, likely due to the surge in Jet A1 fuel prices.

“Buying fuel and all of the rest… I don’t need to explain to you. For now, I have grounded the private jet to do some other businesses for oil companies. I want to maintain that.

“There is a commercial plane that was scheduled and I will use them to the glory of God,” he added.
