Hamas ‘agreeing to things that are very important’ - Trump says

US President, Donald Trump expressed optimism on Monday, October 6 saying he was "pretty sure" a Gaza peace deal was possible and that Hamas was agreeing to "very important" issues as indirect talks with Israel began in Egypt under his 20-point plan. Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, the President addressed his red lines in the negotiations: "I have red lines, if certain things arent met were not going to do it."  When asked if a precondition included Hamas agreeing to disarm, he added, "But I think were doing very well and I think Hamas has been agreeing to things that are very important." Trump said he was highly optimistic about the prospects of a final deal.  "I think were going to have a deal.
