Gunmen k!ll six miners in Plateau community

Gunmen have k!lled six miners in Wang community, Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State. It was gathered that the gunmen stormed the mining site on Saturday night, September 6, 2025 while the victims were engaged in mining activities. Christopher Luka, youth leader of Bokkos LGA, confirmed the incident to Daily Trust. A personnel of Agro Ranger, part of the security team maintaining peace in the region, also confirmed that six persons were killed during the incident. He said security agencies had issued a warning to people to stop going to the mining site due to threats but the deceased refused to adhere to the warning. We had issued a warning that they should put a stop to the mining activities but they refused. I am sure the victims sneaked in the night when security had left the site.
