Gunmen assassinate Osun PDP chieftain in his wife’s shop

Unknown gunmen suspected to be hired assassins have killed a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the Ada area of Osun State, Dele Agboola.  It was gathered that Agboola was killed on Thursday night, September 14, 2023, by three men disguised as customers who wanted to purchase medicine at his wifes shop located in Pako Area, Ada.  The assailants arrived when the 42-year-old man popularly known as Agbo, left the shop and went inside his residence. According to reports, a few minutes after he retired inside, Dele came back to the shop to pick up his mobile phone charger. He was about to leave the shop again for his location behind the shop when three men approached him and asked if he was Dele Agboola, and he told them he was the person bearing the name.''Immediately they confirmed his identity, they shot him. Those that attacked him were three in number. They fled the area and people ran in different directions to avoid being attacked.
