Grammarly Is Now Superhuman

Grammarly, the popular AI writing tool, has officially rebranded as Superhuman, marking its evolution from a writing assistant into a full-fledged AI productivity platform. This change comes after a series of major acquisitions, including Coda, a collaborative workspace app, and Superhuman Mail, an AI-powered email platform.

Starting today, all paid Grammarly Pro subscribers will gain access to the Superhuman suite, which includes Superhuman Mail, Coda, and a new AI assistant called Superhuman Go. Users can try Superhuman Go at no extra cost until February 1, 2026, though the company hasn’t confirmed future pricing.

From Writing Tool to AI Productivity Hub

The rebrand signifies Grammarly’s transition from a grammar-checking tool into a multi-purpose AI workspace. According to Noam Lovinsky, Superhuman’s Chief Product Officer, the change has been in motion since late 2024 long before the company’s recent acquisitions.

While the familiar Grammarly writing tool still exists, it now plays a smaller role within the Superhuman ecosystem. The company’s new focus is on creating an AI agent-powered work platform that integrates with over 100 apps, helping users manage emails, meetings, and projects from one interface.

In the new Superhuman Go, users can schedule meetings using Google Calendar, refine email pitches using data from connected databases, and even access specialized AI agents for apps like Google Workspace and Microsoft Outlook.

What’s New in Superhuman Go

The Superhuman Go interface feels familiar to Grammarly users but offers a wider range of capabilities. It features a sidebar for writing suggestions, prompts, and access to AI agents that assist with specific tasks. Essentially, Grammarly’s original AI writing assistant has evolved into a smart productivity companion that understands your workflow across tabs and tools.

Lovinsky explains that Superhuman Go can now handle “far greater and broader tasks” than the original Grammarly Go ever could, expanding beyond writing to include smart scheduling, document editing, and project coordination.
