A massive computer systems outage apparently linked to Microsoft brought chaos to multiple industries on Friday, grounding flights in the United States, derailing television broadcasts in the UK and impacting telecommunications in Australia. The company posted on X that it was working to "alleviate impact in an expedited fashion".
