Fulham reluctant to trigger €24m option for Chukwueze despite strong loan spell

Fulham FC are reportedly hesitant to meet the €24 million asking price for Samuel Chukwueze despite his impressive performances during his loan spell at the club.

The Nigerian winger joined Fulham on loan from AC Milan last summer and has since become a key figure under manager Marco Silva.

Chukwueze has contributed three goals and four assists in 20 league appearances, quickly winning over supporters at Craven Cottage.

However, reports suggest Fulham are unwilling to activate the €24 million buyout clause included in the agreement.

“Samuel Chukwueze has become the symbol of the fans, who want to keep him in London,” Milan Press stated.

“However, the club currently considers the buyout too high, and this is exactly what makes it difficult to reach an agreement.”

Meanwhile, AC Milan are open to selling the former Villarreal CF winger as they plan a squad overhaul ahead of next season.
