From hiring to matchmaking: What drove Info Edge's FY26 growth

Info Edge has reported a steady rise in standalone billings for the financial year ending March 2026, with growth led primarily by its recruitment business, alongside gains in matchmaking and property, despite pressure in some segments.

For the three months ended March, the company reported standalone billings of Rs 1,057.1 crore, up from Rs 983.8 crore a year earlier. For the full year, standalone billings rose to Rs 3,177.5 crore from Rs 2,881.7 crore in the previous financial year.

The recruitment solutions segment, which includes its flagship jobs platform Naukri.com, remained the company’s largest contributor. It generated Rs 810.7 crore in the final quarter and Rs 2,374.3 crore for the year. Growth in this division stood at 9.5% year-on-year in the quarter and 10% for the full year.

However, the company said expansion in recruitment slowed due to “broader macroeconomic uncertainty and external geopolitical headwinds”, particularly affecting its Gulf operations. These factors also weighed on its India-based business-to-business hiring segment.

Its property platform, 99acres, reported modest gains, with quarterly billings of Rs 162.8 crore. The business continued to strengthen its digital presence, achieving 49% web traffic share and 53% app traffic share during January and February 2026, according to SimilarWeb data.

The company said recent organisational and process changes within the division had a “transitional impact” on billings, but were aimed at supporting longer-term growth.

The Jeevansathi matchmaking platform delivered stronger performance, with billings rising to Rs 38.6 crore in the quarter and Rs 142.4 crore for the year, reflecting year-on-year growth of more than 20% in the final quarter.

By contrast, the Shiksha education platform reported a decline in quarterly billings to Rs 45.1 crore. The company said the segment had been affected by the rise of AI-driven search tools, which are increasingly answering user queries directly and reducing traffic referrals.

It added that the business is “actively pivoting its model” and introducing new offerings to reduce reliance on search traffic, with results expected over the medium term.

Overall, Info Edge reported total billings growth of 7.4% year-on-year in the fourth quarter and 10.3% for the full financial year. The figures are unaudited and were released ahead of the company’s formal earnings announcement.
