A factory fire at one of Ford's aluminum suppliers will affect the company's ability to produce F-Series trucks, something that could cost the company a staggering amount of cash. According to Automotive News, the September 16 fire at a Novelis aluminum plant in Oswego, New York, is expected to take the facility offline through the beginning of next year, which could affect F-150 production through the end of 2026. Since much of Ford's business hangs on the best-selling F-Series pickup, the company could pay dearly for the fire.
