FG Wants To Give The Impression That State Govt Isn’t Doing Anything In The States -Adetokunbo Pearse

In a recent report by the Sun, Dr. Adetokunbo Pearse, a public affairs analyst and the Convener of Reset Lagos, expressed concerns about the federal government’s intentions behind empowering local governments. He suggested these actions are designed to benefit the president’s political agenda.

Pearse argued that the federal government aims to create a narrative that state governments are mismanaging funds. By ensuring local governments receive direct financial allocations, the federal authorities present themselves as supporters of local governance.
