Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Sunday celebrated his 86th birthday.

Obasanjo, who served as Nigeria's Head of State from 1976 to 1979 and later as President between 1999 and 2007, took to his Twitter handle to celebrate himself.

He tweeted, "86 years of God's faithfulness. Happy birthday to a man of valour, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo."
