Former Arsenal and Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas has stepped down from his managerial role at Como, the club he owns, just a month after assuming the position.

The decision reportedly stems from Fabregas lacking the required coaching badges, prompting the former Spanish midfielder to make this choice. Fabregas had assumed the managerial role at the Serie B side following the dismissal of Moreno Longo.

Despite his brief stint, the 36-year-old Fabregas achieved commendable results, securing three wins in five matches while concurrently pursuing his coaching badges.

In light of Fabregas’s departure, Como has appointed Osian Roberts, formerly Patrick Vieira’s assistant manager at Crystal Palace, to take charge.
