Sky has the lion’s share of live games

Sky recently announced a slew of new TV perks specifically for football fans.

Top of the list for those who hate to miss out on the action is Multiview.

This is particularly handy when several games are on at the same time – and it will eliminate the need to constantly flick from channel to channel.

It moves from ground to ground covering all the goals
and big moments, complete with dedicated commentary and half-time analysis.

#2 Picture quality boost

Sky Glass has a number of picture settings fit for different programmes, including a vivid and movie option.

But there’s also a sport picture quality setting too.

Sky describes this as feeling “like you’re right there in the stadium with an electrifying explosion of sound and vivid, sharp colours”.

You can activate it by pressing the three dot button on your remote.

Slide along to Viewing mode and set Sport.

#3 Enhanced audio

If you find yourself struggling to hear the commentator amid all the action there is a setting to help you out.

This cleverly boosts the sound of voices.

Press the three dot button on your remote and scroll to Enhance speech quality.

#4 Faster goals

One of the big set backs with streaming is the delay for live coverage.

There’s nothing worse than hearing everyone cheer a goal down the street and you’ve not seen it yet.

To help, there is a feature called Live sync, which improves the lag.

This will cut it down to approximately 22 seconds.

You can find this button on the Sky Sports Main Event UHD channel.

Press the right key on your remote, then tap the Live sync button.
