Equity Bank Announces 6-Hour Maintenance Affecting Digital Banking Channels

Equity Bank Kenya announced a planned six-hour maintenance affecting its “send money to other banks” service across its digital banking channels, including Equity Mobile App, Equity Online, EazzyBiz, 247#, and Equitel.

The bank issued a notice on Tuesday, September 23, stating that the services will be unavailable from Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 10:00 PM to Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 4:00 AM.

“Dear Member, Due to a planned system maintenance, send money to other banks service on Equity Mobile App, Equity Online, EazzyBiz, *247# and Equitel will be unavailable from Tuesday, 23/9/2025 10:00PM to Wednesday, 24/9/2025 at 4:00AM,” read the notice in part.

“All other services remain available. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please remember, Equity calls you from only ONE number: 0763 000 000.”
