Election Commission further streamlines process of Counting of Postal Ballots

The Election Commission of India will streamline postal ballot counting. This initiative aims to reduce delays and enhance clarity. Counting of postal ballots will take precedence over EVM counting. The second last round of EVM counting will start after postal ballot counting finishes. More tables and staff will be available for postal ballot counting.
