The Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) has once again demonstrated its commitment to spiritual growth, infrastructure development and kingdom expansion with the groundbreaking ceremony for a proposed ₦400 million Mega Worship Centre at the NNPC Refinery premises in Kaduna State.

The landmark project, championed by the ECWA Kaduna East District Church Council (DCC), is being hailed as a bold step toward strengthening Christian worship, evangelism and community development in the region.

The ceremony drew a large gathering of church leaders, ministers, elders, members and supporters who witnessed the commencement of what many described as one of the most significant church development projects within the district in recent years.

Leading the event were the ECWA President, Rev. Dr. Job Ayuba Bagat Mallam, and the ECWA General Secretary, Rev. Dr. Ayuba Asheshe, whose presence underscored the importance of the project to the church’s long-term vision.

Also in attendance were key Kaduna East DCC officials, including Rev. Dauda Kure, Rev. Prince M. Bagu Maza, Elder Akan Yongs, Rev. Markus Magaji, Rev. Andrew Yohanna and Elder Patrick D. Ambut.

In his exhortation, Rev. Dr. Asheshe emphasized that the responsibility of building God’s kingdom rests on all believers and not the church alone. He called on Christians, philanthropists, corporate organizations and friends of the Gospel to support the project, describing it as an investment in future generations.

According to him, the worship centre will serve as more than a physical structure; it will become a spiritual home where lives are transformed, faith is nurtured and communities are strengthened through the message of Christ.

The unveiling of the architectural design provided worshippers with a glimpse of the modern facility envisioned for the refinery community. Project consultants disclosed that the mega worship centre is expected to be completed with an estimated cost of ₦400 million.

The event featured prayers, choir ministrations, goodwill messages, fundraising and the symbolic turning of the soil, reflecting the unity and collective determination of the church to bring the vision to reality.

Speaking during the ceremony, the ECWA President expressed confidence in the church’s ability to complete the project, citing God’s faithfulness and the commitment of members and supporters across the denomination.

Observers noted that the project reflects the growing influence of ECWA’s leadership in advancing infrastructure and expanding the church’s reach across Nigeria. Many participants praised the administration for providing visionary leadership that continues to inspire confidence, mobilize resources and foster growth within the church.

With financial pledges already pouring in and members pledging spiritual and material support, expectations are high that the Mega Worship Centre will become a landmark centre for worship, fellowship and evangelism in Kaduna State.

As the foundation is laid, the project stands as a testament to ECWA’s enduring commitment to building both lives and communities, while reinforcing its mission of spreading the Gospel and impacting society through faith-driven development.
