Maturity is leading your life in a way that you try to minimise complications. You are aware of what’s happening around you but choose to ignore it.

Some people think they can easily act out, mislead or deceive the other person to make their way out. Mature people notice but ignore such actions because they want to keep their life simple and preserve their time and energy for meaningful things. 

You don’t need to react to every action or behaviour of others. Sometimes responding drains so much out of you that you feel unsettled after such interactions.
