DOCTOR HAILING HIS WIFE AS ‘HERO’ FEW MONTHS BEFORE STABBED TO DEATH BY THE SAME WIFE 

Ugandan doctor, Dr Etuk Joseph was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife, Francesca Amony, a lawyer and human rights activist.

Amony, a senior member of the Democratic Party (DP) and a former National Secretary for the DP Women’s League, handed herself to Lacor police post in Bardege-Layibi division, Gulu city, after she allegedly stabbed her husband to death on Friday, October 28, 2022. read here.

On June 9, 2022, late Etuk, had taken to Facebook to celebrate his wife, describing her as a hero.

In the post which has gone viral, the doctor also said he will love Francesca to his dying day and couldn’t have asked for a more supportive wife.

The post read, "In this life I couldn't ask for more. U have been there for me through thick and thin. When I was sick u slept in the hospital without a second thought, through my weaknesses u stood by me and now u carry my only Son may God bless u and grant u everything u ever wanted in this Life. I will Love u to my dying day Atuku. friends help me celebrate this Hero she is my Mother Bear Happy Heroes day Wifile."
