DIDI-OMAH TALKED ON "WHATSAPP CHAT AUTOMATION", EXPRESSED THE BAD EFFECT ON HIS BUSINESS

WhatsApp chat automation is good and it's bad! The goodness of it; when you have lots of activities to do, you also need rest and need more knowledge — it helps you responding to chats on your behalf, then you are offline or online. It's programmed, and delivers as you have instructed it to. The badness of it; not everyone that enter your inbox, is your customers. Some may be your next partners to higher success or achievements in your career or business.

DIDI-OMAH TALKED ON "WHATSAPP CHAT AUTOMATION", EXPRESSED THE BAD EFFECT ON HIS BUSINESS

There was a time in 2024, when I was chatting with my so dear, Oyebade Deborah, on WhatsApp. Which she happens to be a successful affiliate marketing coach and a lawyer — she is from the Yoruba, Osun State, Nigeria; you know from coaching a student to anything, it happens — passing professional boundaries!

Like Kizz Daniel said; Love in the air, wear facemask. Me, I don't want to wear facemask for this love in the air — coming on my face.

We were having fun in our conversations and also learning — this talk came up — WhatsApp chat automation.

She told me, she was learning WhatsApp automation, I don't mean the one of setting chat automation link on WhatsApp. I am talking about total automation take over — which is to say, when I chat "Hi", it will respond back, communicating with me like human.

Chat automation link set on WhatsApp, is for the beginners — those still learning chat automation. She is good in chat automation; if I am not mistakenly, she must have put it on all her social media message — that is, when Mr. A, chat her on Facebook or Instagram, the bot will respond as if it's human, not pouring options — like that of chat automation link.

I thought about it, after she told me that, then I asked her: me, being a good computing student and have knowledge of these. I asked her, Deborah, robot will be chatting with me, right! — she laughed and replied; no I will be chatting with you — she was telling me, that she will be responding to me, not robot.

That's lightened me, here's is what I am to say: WhatsApp chat automation is good and it's bad!

So since it's programmed for business, it will bring up business, while the person have a different concept.

I have lost top people online due to this automation, the one that's in WhatsApp, and it affected my business badly. Then I realized, that people want to chat with people, not robots. If I want to chat with bot, I communicate with ChatGPT very well.

So if you want to achieve success, be emotional — machines does not have emotions. Connect with people based on the reasons, they reach out to you; communicate on why they meet you at first — this build a strong relationship, then sales follow — bots can't do that.

There's always a problem, why they choose to buy from you; connect with them with that reason and offer solution to it — That way you make money and grow your business — not bot pouring out options to follow.

Except you want to install "expert system and machine learning"; talking about sales and human psychology type — an AI for this — then be ready to spend money, invest lot of money; even that your small business will suffer from it at the beginning, appreciate you later!

Your business is still growing, you don't have staffs, you are using chat automation on WhatsApp or other social media; you are slowly killing your business in the long-run.

Except you applied it rightly, you have to communicate with people as human, not bot.

To take to heart: a business should use automation when they have lots of tasks and few humans to carry it out, those staffs will be able to supervise the automation and connect with emotional intelligence, being human.

Take to heart: machines should be used to do heavy works, hard tasks; to assist humans — partner with humans — not to be used to replace humans at work.

If we want a future not full of dooms and risky to humans; we should invest in humanity and human empowerment — not AI or machine. So humans will still have dominion over things on earth — transformational leadership.
