Dickson speaks on NDC crisis

Seriake Dickson, the national leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has said the party is not facing any form of internal crisis.

He made this known during an interview on Arise Television’s Prime Time programme on Wednesday.

He explained that the party continues to run smoothly and has the backing of well-known political figures.

According to him, former Anambra State governor Peter Obi and former Kano State governor Rabiu Kwankwaso remain part of the group of leaders who have shown support for the platform.

Dickson also noted that the party has been able to bring together different political actors who share similar ideas, which he said is part of its recent growth and cooperation among members.

He added that the level of interest from Nigerians who want to contest under the party shows that people are confident in the platform.

He maintained that the situation in the party should not be seen as conflict, but as steady development and wider participation.
