DESPO Matriculation 2025/2026: Date and Venue

Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara (DESPO), through the Office of the Registrar, has announced the date for the matriculation ceremony for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In a memorandum dated Jan 30, 2026, the Registrar, Efedi Chukwuemeke, directed that staff and students be informed of the ceremony; the event is the formal induction of freshers into the polytechnic.

The matriculation ceremony is scheduled as follows:

• Date: Friday, 13th February, 2026
• Time: 10:00 a.m. prompt
• Venue: Chief James Onanefe Ibori Auditorium

Who the Ceremony Is For

The ceremony is for:

• Newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session

It is the formal induction of fresh students into DESPO; attendance matters for every new student named in the notice.
