DAYS AFTER FLAUNTING MONEY ONLINE, UNIZIK STUDENT ARRESTED FOR KIDNAPING HIS BESTFRIEND 

A 400-level student of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka has been arrested by the police for the alleged kidnap of his best friend.

The suspect identified as Ndome Godsent Ogar, a student in the department of medicine, was said to have masterminded the kidnap of his friend, a 300-level student from the department of Medical Laboratory, UNIZIK.

According to reports, Ndome and his gang demanded a N4 million ransom from the family of his best friend, which was paid to secure his release. He was also said to have kidnapped a primary one pupil in Umuanuka Otolo Nnewi for which a ransom of N700k was paid for the child's release.

He ran out of luck recently when he was nabbed by security operatives in the state.

Prior to his arrest, he had flaunted bundles of cash online in a show of his affluence.
