Darby kidnapped Gabe Kidd and made sure Death Riders didn’t steal Brodido’s Tag titles

The Sept. 3 AEW Dynamite opened with Gabe Kidd calling out Darby Allin, looking to put a stop to Allin’s quest for a match against his boss, Jon Moxley. In and around the ring, that turned into a brawl between Death Riders and The Opps & Willow Nightingale. Behind-the-scenes at 2300 Arena, Darby continued to brawl with the IWGP Global champion, eventually drugging him with a chemical-doused cloth, throwing him in a body bag, and dragging him away in a pick-up.

Later in the show, as the involvement of Mox and Marina Shafir was about to lead to Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta stealing the Tag titles from Brodido after a really fun match, Allin reappeared to level the playing field for champs Brody King and Brodido…

… eventually allowing them to retain.

Still no word on Moxley vs. Allin being official for All Out on Sept. 20, at least as of this writing. Mox is set to face another young man with a grudge against him Saturday on Collision when he faces Daniel Garcia.
