D2C watch brand Bruno Milano has raised Rs 7.5 crore in a funding round led by Sauce VC, as the startup looks to expand its presence in India and introduce new products.

The round also included participation from Titan Capital and angel investors Arjun Purkayastha, Unacademy co-founder Roman Saini and Info Edge Ventures partner Kitty Agarwal.

The funding comes after Bruno Milano had been bootstrapped since its launch.

The Noida-based startup said it will use the fresh capital to expand its market presence across India, accelerate the rollout of new watch collections and designs, and strengthen its availability across major ecommerce and quick-commerce platforms.

Founded in 2024 by Rachit Jain and Saurabh Agarwal, Bruno Milano designs watches that it sells through its own website, ecommerce marketplaces and quick-commerce channels.

Its watches are generally priced between Rs 2,000 and Rs 5,000. The startup offers quartz and chronograph watches, with collections including Vittorio Chrono, Ambrosiana Chic and Duomo Heritage, as well as customised corporate gifting.

“The customer has already caught up with global design, whether they are in a metro or a tier 2 or tier 3 town. We believed the category had not, and set out to build a global design-first brand that closed that gap, at a price which was fair for India,” Jain said.

Bruno Milano said the startup draws on more than 30 years of experience in watch design and manufacturing, while Agarwal has more than 20 years of experience in the sector.

According to the brand, its watches are hand-finished and quality-checked, with Japanese quartz movements used in some models.

Agarwal said the startup planned to introduce new designs every quarter while reviewing products based on their performance.

“A watch is one of the few things you wear purely by choice, so we work on proportion, dial finish, and how the case sits on the wrist. We plan on launching new designs every quarter, refreshing looks, and culling whatever has not earned its place,” he said.

Bruno Milano operates in an Indian watch market that includes established companies as well as newer brands such as Bangalore Watch Company, Jaipur Watch Company, Argos Watches and Rotoris.
