Cynthia Morgan Blasts Davido Over His Controversial Comments on the Edo Gubernatorial Election

Cynthia Morgan, a former dancehall musician, has criticised her colleague Davido for interfering in the Edo governor election.

Recall that in a series of tweets, Davido questioned the police directive for Edo citizens to return home immediately after voting. He labelled the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as Nigeria’s most hazardous institution and warned Edo residents not to bow to them.

Explaining to people who questioned him about interfering in the race, he stated that his mother is from Edo, and hence he is interested in the election. He also chastised INEC, calling them a disgrace as he appealed to God to aid the citizens.

Cynthia wrote on her Instagram account that he claims his mother is from Edo State, but she has never seen him visit his family residence, nor has he specified the village or family she is from.

She stated that it has always been propaganda for him, and she urged him to leave the Edo people alone. Cynthia informed him that he is not from Edo State and is unaware of the difficulties that the average Edo man or woman faces.

Since you’ve been screaming your mum was from Edo State, I have never seen you visit her family house, and neither have you mentioned the village or family she is from. It has only been a propaganda thing for you
