Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella could miss upcoming fixtures after suffering a hamstring injury.

Cucurella appeared to pick up the issue on Tuesday night during the first half of the Blues’ 2–2 draw with Leeds United.

Head coach Liam Rosenior replaced him at half-time, introducing Jorrel Hato for the remainder of the match at Stamford Bridge.

“He felt his hamstring at half-time,” Rosenior told reporters when asked about the substitution.

“It wasn’t a tactical decision, it was forced.

“Cucu has been doing really well and we hope he’s okay. We’ll do the scans and check if he can play in the next game.”
