Court Clears EX Minister Stella Oduah Of ₦2.5bn Fraud Charges After Plea Bargain

A Federal Capital Territory High Court has discharged former aviation minister, Stella Oduah, and her aide, Gloria Odita, from the N2.5 billion fraud case.Justice Hamza Muazu freed them after the prosecution dropped charges based on a plea bargain.However, two companies linked to her; Sobora International Ltd and Global Offshore & Marine Ltd, pleaded guilty to fraud charges. The court ordered the companies to be wound up and forfeit over N2 billion to the federal government.This ruling officially clears Oduah and Odita of the case.
