Couple Born on the Same Day Dies the Same Day in Road Accident

Tragedy has struck as a couple, Sammy Jones Ndichu Mwangi and his wife Nina Ann Wambui Ndichu, lost their lives on the same day in a fatal road accident.

The heartbreaking news was announced on Facebook by The Architects Alliance, which shared the couple’s obituary alongside details of their funeral arrangements. According to the announcement, the couple passed away on December 12, 2025, following a road traffic accident.

In a tribute shared by the organization, the post read:

“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of one of our members, Arch. Sammy Jonnes Ndichu Mwangi, BORAQS Registration No. A2063, who passed on 12/12/25 in the afternoon, along with his loving wife, Nina Ann Wambui.”

Adding to the emotional weight of the tragedy, it was revealed that both Sammy and Nina were born on the same day. Sammy was born on April 23, 1993, while Nina was born on April 23, 1995, making their shared birthday a poignant detail in their love story.

The couple was laid to rest on December 19 at their family home in Ndakaini Village, where friends, family, and colleagues gathered to pay their final respects.
