The combustion-engine models of Lamborghini’s fast-selling Urus SUV and the Huracán sports car are sold out until the end of production expected in the second half of 2024, after which the range will be replaced by a new plug-in hybrid model for 2025.

Lamborghini made this known in a press release while announcing new records in turnover and sales between January and the end of September. During this period, the ICE-powered Urus and Huracan exclusively powered Lamborghini deliveries to 7,744 cars (+4.2%).

Now available in EVO, STO and Sterrato variants, the Huracán sports car, which replaces the now iconic Gallardo, uses a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine, delivering between 602 and 631 horsepower.

The Lamborghini Urus on the order hand isn’t only the world’s first Super Sport Utility Vehicle but also the brand’s best-selling model and its first-ever production SUV. It is powered by Lamborghini’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.

Last year, the Italian sports car brand, controlled by Audi Group, announced it would invest at least 1.8 billion euros ($2 billion) to produce a plug-in hybrid lineup by 2024 and more to bring out its full-electric model by the end of the decade.
