Coffee Break: Dakota Satchel

I love the deep purple of this bag from Marc Jacobs.

Maybe it's me but I haven't really noticed a bag from the brand in years — it feels like for a while they were just a bit too twee for the prices (with lots of large totes with semi-ironic lettering, if I recall correctly?) So it's nice to see them getting back to a leather bag.

This Dakota satchel is a bestseller at Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom — it comes in black leather, as well as dark brown, tan, and purple suede. I like that it isn't too big or too small, and the price is pretty nice too — it's $598. (Ooh, Zappos has the black leather on a slight sale, 10% off.)
