Christantus Uche has been left out of Crystal Palace’s squad for the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The Eagles recently submitted a 24-man list to UEFA, with the Nigerian’s name notably absent.

Uche was excluded to accommodate new signings Brennan Johnson, Jorgen Strand Larsen and Evann Guessand.

The Nigeria international joined Selhurst Park on loan from Spanish side Getafe last summer, with an obligation to buy should he start 10 matches.

However, the attacking midfielder is expected to return to Spain at the end of the season after struggling to make a significant impact at Palace.

Uche has made 13 Premier League appearances, starting only once. He also featured in four Conference League matches, scoring one goal.
