Preparations for the memorial mass of late Dr. Saulos Chilima and eight others who died in a plane crash are at an advance stage in Ntcheu District.

The memorial mass will be held at Nsipe Parish Ground in Ntcheu, just few mitres away from where Chilima was buried.

State Vice President Dr. Michael Usi who is also Interim President of the United Transformation Movement (UTM) will grace the mass on behalf of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.

The mass will be presided over by Bishop Adrian Chifukwa of the diocese of Dedza.

Inkosi ya Makhosi Gomani V is also scheduled to attend the mass.
