Chelle name strong starting XI for Iran friendly

Nigeria national football team head coach Eric Chelle has unveiled a solid starting lineup for Nigeria’s international friendly against Iran national football team in Antalya, Turkey, scheduled to kick off at 2:00pm on Friday.

In goal, Maduka Okoye returns between the posts, while the defensive setup includes Bright Osayi-Samuel, Igoh Ogbu, Semi Ajayi, and Bruno Onyemaechi.

Captain Wilfred Ndidi will lead the midfield alongside Alex Iwobi, who continues to impress with his creative influence.

Nigeria’s attack features Samuel Chukwueze and Moses Simon on the wings, while Ademola Lookman slots into the attacking setup behind striker Akor Adams.

Also listed among the substitutes are Phillip Otele, Emmanuel Fernandez, Yira Sor, and Chibuike Nwaiwu, who will be eager to make their mark if given the opportunity.
