Catholic Church Announces 404 Jobs for Teachers, Security Guards & Nurses; How to Apply

The Catholic Church has announced 404 job opportunities for Kenyans. The vacancies are spread across various parishes and institutions under the Catholic Diocese of Maralal.

In an advert dated November 25, the Diocese invited applications from suitably qualified people to fill the positions available.

The Catholic Diocese of Maralal seeks to recruit 18 highly organized individuals to serve as secretaries across various roles within the parishes and institutions of the Catholic Diocese.

Additionally, the Diocese is seeking 140 passionate and qualified educators to join its schools at the Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE), primary, and secondary levels.

Meanwhile, 73 positions for cleaners, cooks, and housekeepers, as well as 33 positions for grounds personnel, general workers, farm workers, and parish caretakers, have been declared vacant.

Job Vacancies at the Catholic Diocese of Maralal

The church also seeks to recruit 11 principals and deputy principals for secondary schools, head teachers and deputy head teachers for primary schools, and five ICT technicians.

Six positions for principal tutors, deputy principal tutors, clinical instructors, and BSN tutors, as well as five positions for accountants, cashiers, and bursars for parishes and institutions, have also been advertised.

Additional positions include 37 security guards, four clinical officers, 13 nurses, four lab technicians, two pharmacists, and six matrons.

The church is also seeking to fill vacancies for eight technical positions: tailor, electrician, plumber, welder, carpenter, and mason, as well as three librarian/bookshop attendants.

Additionally, they are looking for four candidates to take the roles of a Sacristan, Choir/Music Director, and a Chaplain, two Journalist field officers and 10 field officers and project assistants.

Furthermore, the church is seeking to recruit four caretakers for a special needs children’s home, five driver/mechanic positions, two radio presenters/anchors, and two editorial/production officers.

The positions requiring one candidate each include a community health officer, sponsorship project coordinator, and a director for the promotion of integral human development.

Others include deputy director for the promotion of integral human development (PIHD), diocesan accountant, diocesan human resource officer, and manager for the pastoral centre.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
