BREAKING NEWS: GOVERNOR SULE OF NASARAWA STATE GIFTED LABOR LEADERS 50M NAIRA CASH AS TRANSPORT FARE AND TO PAY 13TH MONTH SALARIES BONUS ON OR BEFORE 10TH MARCH 2023 TO STATE AND LGAs CIVIL SERVANTS

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr Abdullahi A Sule met with Labor and union leaders this afternoon in Government House Lafia. This is sequel to the invitation sent out to all organized labor leaders by the Secretary of Nigeria Labor Congress, Mr J Oyishoma yesterday, which read; "I am directed to invite all SEC & SAC Members of NLC to meet with His Excellency on Mon 6/3/023 by 1pm @ Govt. House, Lafia. Thanks. Sec, NLC."

 In the meeting this afternoon in Government House Lafia, the Governor promised the Civil Servants in the state would received their 13th Month salaries bonus before Friday, 10th March in order for them to travel home and mobilize their families,relations and public to come out enmass to vote for him on Saturday, 11th March. He apologized for his inability to pay the 13th Month salaries bonus in December 2022 but he's willing now to do it without further delay and that they should not vote opposition party, PDP because they would not pay salaries. He announced that the NNPP, LP and SDP Governorship candidates would step down for him before Saturday's Election. He also promised to cancel the promotions exams being planned for, so that they can vote for him for his second term in office. That all civil servants would be promoted without promotion exams if reelected on Saturday.

He also announced to the labor leaders that, Acting Head of Civil Service and the Director of labor and Housing would be made Substantive Head of Civil Service and Permanent Secretary (and posted to Government House) if he's reelected on Saturday, 11th March. That the duo should join the NLC Chairman and his annointed candidate for tomorrow NLC Election, Comrade Isiaka Okkoh in mobilizing servants to vote for him.

The Governor also told the gathering that some of the APC candidates that lost Election on 25th February 2023 especially the immediate past Governor, Senator Tanko Almakura; the Deputy Governor has been meeting him in Abuja and he would join him too in Abuja by 6.30pm today to resolve their differences and that Almakura and Senator Abdullahi Adamu have no alternative other than to support and deliver him on Saturday,11th March.

The Governor announced a fifty million naira (50m naira) gift to the labor and unions leaders as transport fare for coming for the meeting and directed the NLC Chairman in the state, Comrade Iya to disburse the money without rancor.
