She wrote, “This remarkable achievement is dedicated to my late father. As I proudly walked to receive this honor, I knew the heavens rejoiced with him.”

Mrs. Khadijah Abu Seidu, a resilient and determined mother of three, has achieved a remarkable academic milestone by emerging as the Overall Best Graduating Student in the Bachelor of Science (Midwifery Top-Up) program at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana. With an outstanding Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.80, Khadijah’s hard work and dedication have earned her a scholarship to pursue a two-year MPhil or MSc in Nursing or Midwifery.

Her achievement was celebrated during UCC’s 57th Congregation (5th Session), where she was recognized as:

  • The Overall Best Graduating Student in the BSc. (Nursing-Top Up), BSc. (Midwifery-Top Up), and Diploma in Midwifery programs.
  • The Best Graduating Student in BSc. Midwifery-Top Up (Centre-Based).
