Barcelona extend LaLiga lead to four points after 3–1 comeback win over Atletico

Barcelona opened up a four-point lead at the top of the LaLiga table after securing a 3–1 comeback victory over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night at the Nou Camp.

Hansi Flick’s side were forced to battle from behind after Atletico, who came into the match on a seven-game winning streak, took the lead through Alex Baena in the first half.

Barcelona responded quickly as Raphinha struck to level the score. Robert Lewandowski later missed a penalty, but the champions steadily grew into the game.

After the interval, Dani Olmo put Barça ahead before substitute Ferran Torres sealed the win with a decisive finish, ensuring a hard-fought three points for the Catalan giants.

Real Madrid will have a chance to reduce the gap back to one point when they travel to Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday night.
