Bandits kill seven, kidnap many others in Zamfara state

Armed bandits have killed seven people and kidnapped many others in Gada village, Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State.  It was gathered that the bandits attacked the community at around 6:00pm Saturday, November 11, 2023.  According to residents, the bandits stormed the village riding motorcycles in large numbers carrying heavy weapons and began shooting sporadically on people, killing seven.  Meanwhile, the Zamfara State Government has condoled with people of Gada over the attack. The Deputy Governor of the state, Mani Malam Muminu, who paid a condolence visit to the families who lost their loved ones in the attack, said eight other persons were injured and are currently receiving treatment in a hospital.  Muminu prayed for Allah to forgive their shortcomings and also urged their loved ones and families to continue praying for them and restoration of peace in our dear state.  He then gave assurance of the government's frantic commitments under the leadership of his boss, Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare in providing possible measures capable of bringing an end to banditry and other criminal activities in the state.   The post Bandits kill seven, kidnap many others in Zamfara state appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
