Bandits Demand ₦30m Ransom for Release of Late Sokoto Imam’s Eight Abducted Family Members

 

The family of the late chief imam of Kuda-Kuda village in Goronyo Local Government Area of Sokoto State is appealing for help to raise a ₦30 million ransom demanded by bandits for the release of eight abducted family members.

According to Daily Trust, the demand comes 40 days after the attackers stormed the village, killed the chief imam, Liman Audu, along with three others, and abducted eight members of his family.
