Ballon d’Or 2025: This is my best chance to win award – Salah

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has expressed confidence that this is his “best chance” to win the Ballon d’Or.

The Egyptian forward has had a standout season with the Reds, helping them secure the Premier League title.

At 32, Salah has tallied 28 goals and 18 assists so far, making him the frontrunner for the league’s Golden Boot.

The Ballon d’Or winner is set to be announced on September 22, and Salah remains a strong contender for the prestigious award.

“I would say I never had a season like this and winning big trophies.

“So I would say this is my best chance to get it right now while I’m in the club because it’s been a crazy year, a crazy season with a trophy,” he said in an interview with Sky Sports.

He faces stiff competition from Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembélé and Barcelona’s rising star Lamine Yamal.
