In a move to build a high customer base and increase revenue for smaller agents, Finchglow Travels has unveiled an online digital platform for seamless travel experience and growth in the country.

The firm unveiled the platform during its 11th edition of its PartnerPlus Connect (PPC) series, with the theme: ‘Fueling Your Travel Business for Growth.’ 

The event, meant to inspire and empower travel agencies with actionable insights, innovative strategies and valuable networking opportunities, brought together top professionals, partners and stakeholders in the travel industry.

The Marketing Manager of Finchglow Travels, Oluseyi Famade, while speaking in Abuja, hinted that the event aimed to bring growth and build stronger partnerships in the sector. 

Famade said the organisation is thrilled to bring together key players in the travel industry to explore strategies, share knowledge, and unlock new opportunities for trade partners and the industry at large.

He noted that PPC 11.0 was not just an event, “it is a platform for redefining growth and building stronger partnerships. We are thrilled to bring together key players in the travel industry to explore strategies, share knowledge and unlock new opportunities for our trade partners and the industry at large”.

Also speaking at the event supported by leading global airlines including Air France-KLM and Delta Airlines, the Regional Sales Manager, Finchglow Travels, Adeola Waheed, said the travel firm has been partnering with airlines to render quality services to customers for the past 18 years.

According to Waheed, “Basically, we are true partners with the airlines for flight tickets. We are also into hotel reservations, cargo services, immigration services, protocol services. Basically, it’s a one-stop shop for all your travelling needs.”

While outlining high exchange rate as the major challenge in the travel sector, she added: “We are trying to partner with other travel agents and we are introducing a new initiative where we are creating an end-to-end automated platform, which leveraged on technology that agents can sign on to, with us, and have access to all sorts of airlines, and they’re able to, from the comfort of their offices and homes log on to this platform and issue tickets.

”We are bringing to this platform what you cannot get anywhere else. This initiative is bringing it to those agents, so that we can grow, increase their revenue and satisfy their clients.”

The Branch Manager, Abuja 2, Finchglow Travels, Bashirat Shittu, also explained that the initiative is driven by technological innovations, adding that Partner Plus Connect programme, and Partner Plus products launched are to help travel agents to enhance booking.

“We have our strategy set down on how to increase our client base to help boost sales for the organization. We have a proper

set plan on how to go about our marketing, reaching out to more clients, and how to bring them on board to do business with us. When we have a particular request, we explore all options for our clients to choose from and process for them.”
