Audi Refreshes The Q3 For The 2027 Model Year

Audi has unveiled the refreshed Q3, featuring expanded standard equipment, new digital tech, improved driver assistance, and increased towing capacity for the plug-in hybrid. A key highlight is the addition of an optional 10.9-inch passenger display.

Audi has upgraded the Q3’s standard features to include keyless entry, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a reversing camera. The brand also streamlined its optional Tech packages, offering more flexibility for features like acoustic glazing, Sonos audio, and advanced stability control.

The enhanced adaptive driving assistance system now uses the internet and swarm data for precise speed and distance control based on traffic flow. Parking is streamlined via the myAudi app, while new Valet Mode protects personal data by locking screens and controls. New infotainment and more powerful charging

The infotainment system is based on the Android Automotive platform, which allows the use of applications such as Microsoft Teams directly through the MMI system, without the need to connect a smartphone.

Audi has also improved the voice assistant, which now communicates more naturally with the driver and can control a greater number of vehicle functions.

The wireless charger for mobile phones now supports the Magnetic Power Profile standard and charges up to 25 W (previously 15 W). Rear passengers have three USB-C ports with up to 100 W of power, and the steering wheel has been redesigned, combining touch surfaces and new controls.

Digital Matrix LED lights with micro-LED technology dynamically adjust the light beam and prevent blinding of other road users. The system can also display lighting information for navigation, and the driver can select different light signatures.

The biggest technical innovation concerns the Q3 e-hybrid. The plug-in hybrid can now tow a trailer weighing up to 2,000 kilograms, which is 600 kilograms more than the previous generation.

Pre-orders for the 2027 model year Audi Q3 opened earlier this month, with series production starting in early September 2026.
