Asian Games gold medallist gets 16-month ban for failing dope test

Asian Games gold medallist Seema Punia has been handed a 16-month doping ban by NADA, her third violation. The 42-year-old discus thrower, who won bronze at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games, faces this suspension effective November 10. Several other athletes also received lengthy bans for doping offenses.
