APC Declares Winners of Adamawa National Assembly Primaries Amid High Expectations

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State has officially released the results of its National Assembly primary elections conducted across various federal constituencies in the state.

Following a successful primary process, the party announced the emergence of eight candidates who will fly its flag in the upcoming general elections. The victors include seasoned politicians and professionals who are expected to strengthen the party’s chances in Adamawa’s legislative races.

Among those who secured the tickets are Hon. Aliyu Boya Wakili for Fufore/Song Federal Constituency, Hon. James Barka for Gombi/Hong, and Hon. Nyampa Dauda Zakaria, a PhD holder, for Michika/Madagali. Others include Engr. Ramatu Bello for the Mubi North, Mubi South, and Maiha Federal Constituency (M3), Hon. Kwamoti B. Laori for Numan, and Hon. Suleman Ahmed GK for the Jada/Ganye/Mayo Belwa/Toungo Federal Constituency.

The list is completed by Hon. Golfa Mallam for Guyuk/Shelleng and Engr. Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad (popularly known as Y2G) for the Yola North, Yola South, and Girei Federal Constituency.

In a statement, the Adamawa State Chapter of the APC congratulated the successful candidates and urged party members to rally behind them. The party expressed optimism for unity, progress, and ultimate victory in the forthcoming polls.

The primaries mark a significant step in the APC’s preparation to consolidate its presence in Adamawa’s National Assembly representation as the state gears up for what promises to be a keenly contested electoral season.
