Former Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has revealed that his sister-in-law was killed while his brother sustained several injuries after a tanker crashed into their car in a ghastly road accident on Tuesday, Soccernet.ng reports.

In early May, retired Super Eagles forward Tijani Babangida suffered one of the worst tragedies that any one could suffer, as he lost his son and his brother to a ghastly car accident. His wife also lost one of her eyes in the crash.

Now, former Super Eagles midfielder Onazi, who was part of the victorious team that won the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, has experienced a similar tragedy.
