Another Incident of Terrorists Abducting 15 Women and 1 Man in Southern Kaduna

Reports indicate that on Saturday, a group of terrorists carried out an attack on the Dogon-noma community in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, resulting in the kidnapping of 15 women and one man.

An eyewitness, Istifanus, mentioned that many villagers from the area sought refuge in nearby communities as the armed individuals launched the attack and fired shots indiscriminately.

Assessing the situation, a former council chairman, Cafra Caino, expressed uncertainty regarding the exact number of casualties.

Commenting on the recurrent attacks in the region, Caino highlighted a previous tragic incident in 2019 where 74 individuals lost their lives, emphasizing the ongoing vulnerability of the community to such violence.

Queries directed at the local police command for a statement on the matter proved unsuccessful.
