Amamgbo Charges Nigerian Leaders to Build an Inclusive Future as Children Mark 2026 Children’s Day

As Nigeria commemorates the 2026 Children’s Day celebration, a renowned business leader, prominent lawyer and astute politician, Barr. Donald Amamgbo has called on leaders across the country to prioritize inclusion, quality education, and equal opportunities for every Nigerian child.

In a heartfelt Children’s Day message titled “A Tribute to the Leaders of Today and Tomorrow,” the respected legal practitioner and public figure congratulated Nigerian children for the special celebration while emphasizing that the nation’s future depends largely on how well children are protected, empowered, and included in national development today.

Reflecting on the 2026 Children’s Day theme, “Future Now: Promoting Inclusion for Every Nigerian Child,” Barr. Amamgbo described the theme as a strong reminder that the future is already unfolding in classrooms, homes, and within the dreams of young Nigerians.

According to him, inclusion means ensuring that no child is neglected because of background, physical ability, or social status. He stressed that every Nigerian child deserves recognition, opportunity, and a meaningful place in the nation’s future.

Addressing children directly, Barr. Amamgbo encouraged them to remain confident and ambitious, noting that their voices, ideas, and talents are vital to building a stronger and more united Nigeria.

He further stated that embracing diversity in culture, talent, and origin would position Nigeria as a formidable force within the global community.

Okosisi Ihiala also challenged adults, parents, and political leaders to move beyond promises by investing deliberately in the welfare of children through improved education, security, empowerment, and social inclusion.

He maintained that creating an environment where every child feels seen, heard, and empowered should remain a national priority.

As he wished them a joyful and memorable Children’s Day celebration, Barr. Amamgbo urged Nigerian children to continue dreaming big and striving for excellence, stressing that their energy, creativity, and resilience remain the foundation for a greater Nigeria.
