Alleged Conspiracy Against Tinubu in the 2027 Election, Claims Prof Kailani

In a recent event where he received the Award of Excellence in National Service from the Supreme Head of the Nzuko Nd’ Imo Organisation, NNIO, Prof Kailani Muhammad, the Director General of the Confederation of All Progressives Congress Support Groups, CASG, cautioned President Bola Tinubu to remain cautious as he believes there is a scheme targeting Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential elections.

During his speech, Prof Kailani expressed his concern about a purported plot against Tinubu originating from the North, involving the Northern Elders Forum and other groups.

He further urged the President to consider appointing members of CASG into his administration, suggesting that it would bolster their dedication and allegiance to support the APC government.

Prof Kailani emphasized, “By taking this step, we will extend our full support. It is essential for him to take appropriate actions to empower the support groups. Thus far, there have been no appointments made.”

He also mentioned his belief that the inclusion of CASG members in the government would contribute to the economic growth and overall development of the nation.

Speaking on behalf of CASG, its President, Prof Chris Ogbonna, asserted that the group played a pivotal role in turning Tinubu’s aspirations into a reality of becoming the President of Nigeria.

He added that the efforts of CASG have significantly enriched democracy within the country.
