@AEW

AEW’s next PPV is seven days away for Dynasty on Sunday, April 21 at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri.

The Dynasty card currently includes:

  • AEW World Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Swerve Strickland
  • AEW Women’s World Championship: Toni Storm (c) vs. Thunder Rosa
  • AEW World Tag Team Championship: Young Bucks vs. FTR in a ladder match
  • TBS Championship: Julia Hart (c) vs. Willow Nightingale
  • AEW Continental Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. PAC
  • AEW International Championship: Roderick Strong (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly
  • Bryan Danielson vs. Will Ospreay
  • Adam Copeland, Mark Briscoe, & Eddie Kingston vs. House of Black

There were two new additions this week. Okada accepted PAC’s challenge to a title bout, and Strong turned on O’Reilly, which led to a championship announcement. Strong explained backstage that it wasn’t ever O’Reilly’s choice to make to roll solo. Roddy is the one that calls the shots.

AEW likes to pack PPV cards with matches. Right now, the lineup stands at eight. It seems plausible that two more championships will be defended. The Bang Bang Gang have been circling around the Acclaimed and Billy Gunn. Jay White’s crew are ranked #1 in the trios division, so it makes sense to challenge for the AEW World Trios Championship. The other title bout could be Jon Moxley putting the newly acquired IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on the line. The question becomes if Mox wrestles a contender from NJPW or AEW.

Will the current Dynasty lineup earn your viewing dollars?
